VDAY BITES AND BOOZE

Updated: Jan 22, 2022

Okay, I obviously have food and booze on my mind 24/7 but thought I would put together some extra fun creations in honor of the week of love. Perfect for your Galentines virtual get together or date night at home!

Lot's of love,

Sam

ROSE DRUNKEN STRAWBERRIES

-Soak strawberries in a bowl with rose and refrigerate for at least 1 hour

-Drain and pat dry

-Roll in sugar

-Preheat oven to 325°F

- Lightly grease oven-safe, 10-12" cast iron skillet (oven safe)

- In mixer bowl with a paddle attachment, beat the butter until creamy

- Add in granulated sugar & brown sugar then beat on medium-high until light & fluffy

- Beat in eggs, vanilla & milk at high speed until well mixed

- Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed to be sure all is mixed in

- Add 1/2 of the chocolate chunks and sprinkles, mix on low

- Transfer 1/2 the cookie dough into the prepared skillet & press down into an even layer

- Add sea salt

- Top with remaining dough, pressing down again & then with remaining sprinkles and chocolate chunks

- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until browned on the sides and lightly brown on top (I like my center nice and gooey)
